This Is How Amazing and Practical Coke Can Be

No doubt, coke is one of the world’s most popular soft drink, but are you aware of some amazing alternative use of coke? Apart from drinking, the fizzy drink can be one of your cleaning supply for a wide range of different purposes! It’s actually quite the handyman!

1. Removing Rust and Burnt Residues

One of the easiest methods of cleaning a rusty or burnt utensil is to pour coke in it, leave it overnight and give it a scrub in the morning. Acid present in the beverage will help to weaken and dissolve the rust and burnt food residues sticking to the bottom of the utensil.

2. Cleaning Glass Windows

Wipe down glass windows with coke to remove dirt and grease without using chemical and toxin-ridden household cleaners! Coke makes an inexpensive window cleaner. One of the main ingredients used in coke is citric acid. Citric acid is an excellent cleanser, commonly found in cleaning supplies for glass window panes. All you have to do is soak a clean cloth with coke then wipe down your windows with it. Don’t forget give your windows another wipe down with just water to ensure that no residue of the sugary beverage remains on the glass.

3. Bathroom Cleaner

For the rusty and moldy crannies and nooks, add a can of coke into your cleaning solution to hasten the cleaning process. Coke helps to break down rust, remove grout and restore the appearance of your bathroom. We’ve also shared previously that you can use coke to clean the toilet bowl. It helps to remove hard-to-clean stains on the inside of the toilet bowl. Simply pour a can of coke, allow it to sit for several hours before flushing and giving it a scrub.

4. Removing Stains

Ladies have to know this tip! Coke removes grease and blood stains from apparels. You have to pour coke on top of a stain and let it soak. The stain will slightly discolored, then throw it into the wash and your clothing will come out clean. Alternatively, you can also add it to the wash as a deodorizer and stain remover. Some people have even used it on marker stains from carpet!
